NLPA NEWS
The following New Law for the NLPA constitution was voted on and passed at this year's AGM held October 21, 2006 ; it will be enforced as of January 1st, 2007.
(a) Any member of the NLPA that has a National qualifying total and wishes to participate in a National level event must compete or contribute in some way (i.e. referee, spot, load, set-up, teardown, etc) at any NL Provincial meet. Lifters that cannot meet these requirements (i.e. work commitments either in or out of province, schooling, injured, family matters, etc) must submit their appeal to the NLPA President in writing and the Executive will review and vote on the appeal.
